    Corroded hardware on aluminum trailer

I picked up another boat (I know I'm not the sharpest spoon in the shed...), it has a McClain aluminum trailer. All of the bolts and u-bolts are stainless, but the nuts on them are mostly carbon steel or galvanized and they've all been badly corroded. Is there any reason why they wouldn't run all stainless hardware everywhere?

Both being stainless will possibly seize up unless you use an anti-seize on them.

You can replace the nuts on stainless bolts with brass. They won't gall or corrode.
