The electricity never went out. I do not know about the rest of the country but ever since the TVA came around these parts we have the Tesla candles in our homes and Edison candles on our horseless carriages. I was not worried.

You wouldn't believe the traffic we're seeing this evening from the people headed back home. I traveled this morning and met a ton but on my way home it was 10x worse.
Was trout fishing in PA and it was neat seeing it while fishing. The fish kept eating but the Mosquitoes come out when it got dark.

We watched it at work while on the clock. A few of us spotted what looked like a drone hauling ass across the sky just as the sun was about to get full coverage. Was disappointed there was no UFO landing but we did technically see a UFO, lol.

Treat others like you want to be treated when on the water EVEN WHEN IN A TOURNAMENT! No fish is worth having a confrontation because you cut someone off or came in on top of someone.
We had it a bit different here, full cloud cover, so it hit midnight dark. Within ten seconds after totality hit, a ton if bats dame whizzing by. Not a third nipple, but pretty darn cool all the same.
For us it was, last total was in 1925. There have only been four in the US in the last 60 years.
