    Trailer Bunks

Have any of you added trailer bunk pads to aid in launching you boat? Not so much the gator back bunk covers but individual Teflon/plastic strips. For those that added these products to your trailer have they scratched you hull? My boat is the worst that I owned when it come to launching. If I back down till the fenders are submerged you need water proof boots to get into the boat.

The plastic strips will eventually scratch the hull with the road dust and load of the boat. You can silicone spray the bunks once their dry. Just a warning, which everyway you go, leave the winch strap fastened until the boat is in the water. A quick stop and the boat will slide right off. Saw a new rig slide off onto the concrete before reaching the water.
