Oldest set of trailer tires you've ran?

Got some new tires put on my boat trailer this weekend, and the ones they took off were from 2011. Tread still looked good on them, as it's obvious I don't take the boat out as much once my kids were born starting in 2013.
I think my old tires would have been fine tread wise, but figured new ones might make feel a little bit better.

Anyone else have tires on their trailer for 10-15+ years?

15 years old I think and they looked it too. They were on the trailer when I bought it and replaced soon after. I take safety too serious to be running on questionable tires. A friend of mine bought a '95 Charger 186 in 2013ish that was a garage queen. I told him he better checked the date code on the tires and he argued that they were fine because the tread was good and sidewall looked fine. Not long after that he blew a tire on the single axle trailer on the way home from a night trip to the lake. He said they were dated 1994.

The first set of tires on my new Shorelandr trailer, 8-9 years, from now on 5-6 years at most, don't want to push my luck. Tires are too important, and I make sure to inflate them to the proper psi the day before I go out.

Every tire I've blown (3) looked almost new. I replace them every 4-5 years.

Depends. I have 1 boat I fish out of every day. I travel 3 blocks to the ramp. Those will stay on til they fall off. The other boat I travel with 10-12 times per year. I will replace those when they are 5 yrs old.

Original Cooper Cobra radial gts on my 2011 Puma were just replaced last spring with same tires. They had around 30k on them when I replaced them. I will never put regular trailer tires on any trailer I own.

Boat trailer tires every four years as they wear out on a dual axle trailer. I have a 16' utility trailer though that went 15 or so years on one set. Changed them out maybe 6 years ago and they are still going and will until one of them go out.

I bought a boat last year that has a 2015 trailer with the original Carlyse tires on it that are like new. It was always kept in a garage and not towed much.

I ran my original spare from 1993 in 2018 out of necessity, not for long. replaced all 3 not long after.

My last set was about 10 years old by pure accident--kids were really young and keeping me too busy the last few years. The boat is garage kept, so they definitely didn't look bad at all. When I finally discovered the issue, I found it to be a good time to replace all 3 tires (single axle plus spare) and shine up the chrome wheels. I now have a reminder to change them at the 6-7 year mark as well as reminders to rotate the tires and check bearings yearly.

Boat a bought to flip last fall. The tires where from 2010 the boat had sat in storage till I got it and the tires looked great. The drive home was 40 miles and the tires had so many cracks I don’t know how they made it.

They only last me 15,000 - 20,000 miles. So every couple years I have to buy new ones.
