Recommendations for polarized progressive prescription lens fishing sunglasses....

I have had my prescription recently changed and need to order a new pair of prescription progressive lens fishing sunglasses. Anyone have any recommendations?
    Thanks advance...

Maui Jim has made some excellent progressives for me. They are expensive, but excellent.

I've had a pair from WalMart for a couple of years and have been real happy with them. My wife got some from Sport RX and they sent out different styles to try on.

I have a pair of Costa's with progressive lens. 100% satisfied with the Costa's. Con to all brands is cost. Paid $700 for my pair. I think that I will get a pair of Wiley X through work on their dime.

Keep in mind that a GOOD pair of progressive polarized lenses are not gonna be cheap. There are 100's of different types of progressives that you can be fit for in a sun lens. The best thing to do is consult a optician on what your specific needs will be. Ex. bass fishing. They will be able to fit, measure and recommend a good sun progressive for you based on your RX and the frame that you like.

Have had Maui Jim’s twice. They are generally not discounted, but if you ask a couple places…not cheap regardless, but quality.

I ordered a set or progressive polarized sunglasses from Glassesshop.com that seem to work well enough for my needs. Prior to going from contacts to glasses full-time, I wore Ray-Ban while my wife wears Maui Jim; if I want to order an expensive pair, I'll likely go with one of them.

This will be my next pair of script sunglasses. I have an old pair that have readers that I still reach for today. My current pair are Oakley's which I'm not crazy about. Have had Costas and think the quality nod goes to the Maui's.

I just went to the optometrist last week. If I had the $900 cash I would have gone with Maui Jims.
but my insurance cost out of pocket of $10 made me go with a Nike frame.

Maui Jim only uses their own lab for the RX.

Other brands you could end up with a completely different coating from some lab.

Just picked up my Maui Jim progressives on Friday. Haven’t been on the water yet.

Don't get progressive lenses that fit snug to your face. Things only look clear when you look straight ahead. I'd get flatter based framed and a bifocal if I were buying again

I like a wrap around frame and that was definitely an issue for costa when I initially tried them for progressives. I had a pair and a replacement pair both turn out unusable from any angle. Maui Jim in a similar frame was perfect from all angles.
