There's a little festival on our town square tomorrow and there will be a Pink Floyd tribute band performing. I guess I'll walk over there, check out the music and have a beer.

My county in Texas declared an “emergency” over a month ago. I asked the emergency manager, how & why? He says, “you know $$$”. Our schools are closed, half the banks are closed, county offices are closed. It’s a damn debacle.

It’s ALWAYS, always about the money. What exactly is supposed to take place in a SOE that’s not already in place? I would love to see how the states do their accounting and see the frickery that takes place with OUR money.

My mom made me laugh by saying "this is a solar eclipse but people are acting like it's a UFO landing".

They're expecting traffic jams up here in Maine. One town of about 2500 is expected to have 10K swarm to it today.

If this thing is a flop and no areas are overwhelmed, I’ll never believe a thing the media tells us again. They are already about 50/50 on most stuff.

Unreal the amount of Texas and Oklahoma tags on Subarus, 4runners, crossovers, etc. I met between 6:30 and 7:45 on my way to Springdale. Most all had their mountain bikes attached to the ride somehow.

I wonder how many Idiots will be in emergency rooms or at eye doctors because they were looking at the sun for 2 hours. This one is not even worth shaking your head at it is so stupid. CJ

Texas estimates getting 1M visitors for the eclipse out of the 4M estimated to be traveling to view it somewhere.
