Rowland did that 25-30 years ago and thus the rule from B.A.S.S. Had his made up in sections and put it together on front deck when he arrived at fishing location.

The Bow Fishermen Shooting Carp don’t even use one that high. That’s too sharp a looking boat to have that ugly thing on the back deck.

Definite overkill - too many things could go wrong.

Uuuuuhhhhhh…they have more rules than most any other state, imo. Some of their rules affect the whole US, even if it’s just a warning label on a product.

I personally would not care to do it, but besides that I worry about the trolling motor hitting a stump or rock. Falling off that platform could be problematic.

I made a platform for my boat years ago that was 12-16 inches tall and the front seat post went thru it to hold it in place. When we showed up with it on our yearly club trip at lake Seminole all the guys thought what the hell. The next morning they were bringing the bar stools from the cabin, some whiner and got small step ladders and whatever else they could do trying to jump on the advantage boat. It was hilarious to see them trying to make shift stuff to work without busting their tails.

What about government safety regulations, 4 feet rule and such?

How you going to see your FFS up there? Probably going need 1 more setup.
