    Time for a new Toaster

Folks always ask about grills and such so not for something completely different.

It seems toasters are complete junk and do not last all that long. Any suggestions for ones that will work for more than a year? I am not interested in a toaster oven. I am looking for a traditional toaster with slots for bread, bagels and english muffins.

Maybe try to find an old one at a yard sale? Most of my appliances are probably older than twenty years. They sure don’t make like that anymore.

We bought this KeenStone wide opening toaster back in 2019. Works as advertised. Easy to clean, and you can lay it down on a towel and melt your cheese on your sandwich.

Good luck with anything new. Went thru several and finally settled on one cause it appeared to suck less.

    Checked my Amazon past orders.
Toaster gets used almost daily (Eggo(s), toast); and deep fryer gets used occasionally for walleye/crappie. Both still working great.

identical looking current model > https://www.amazon.com/1200-Watt-2-2...s%2C110&sr=8-8

If my T-fal toaster died tomorrow, I'd probably buy this T-fal > https://www.amazon.com/T-fal-TT682D5...s%2C143&sr=8-3
[hopefully the 220V under Product Information is a typo; 850 watt]

Brevile. The only negative is that it’s way more expensive but it’s also way better than all the rest:

Toaster ovens have also gone the way of the cheap. I'm hanging on to the ones we have and will probably try to repair if needed versus replace when they fail.

We use a Cuisinart toaster over for 90% of what we bake or toast. We can toast 4 slices at once, it has a bagel setting too. Has 4 elements so it toasts bread very evenly.

We've had it going on 8 years and has been 100% trouble free.

You guys crack me up... no problem placing a $400 TW order each month, but complain that a $25 toaster that doesn't last 50 years.

Go buy a $20 4-slice toaster from wallymart. Use it until it stops making toast... then get a new one. If that is 1 year or 2 dozen years, who cares?

    These rarely ever break!

If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

I’d like to toast and butter the buns on that girl in the 1st video. Hmm looks cool but looks like it has too many fancy gadgets that can brake eventually.

Where did anyone mention a budget? I guess some people just like complaining. I just want to get a good value for my hard earned $. You probably think cheap=best bang for the buck. It does not. Same when I am making a "$400 TW order." I could buy Trilene Big Game for all my line but I believe there are better lines. I just want to buy a quality toaster. If that means $75 and it lasts 5 years, then that is better than $20 every year.

If you have ever been to my local Walmart, you'd understand why that is not an option.

I went with a Hamilton Beach that does regular size bread, large sliced bread, waffles and bagels.

So that’s where all those Walmart videos come from.
