Hds carbon want to go back to 18.3 update

I did have my carbon running my at2 active target. It has 23.3 (the latest) software revision. I got a hds pro to run my active target and now I want to use the carbon to run my hdi and 2D I would like to take the software revision back to 18.3. I have the 18.3 loaded on an sd card but when I power up the carbon it just goes through the normal reboot process. I am guess the carbon is not updating with the older revision. How can I “force” the carbon to reboot with the 18.3 revision? Thanks

Pages, then Files/ Storage on the left, click on the memorycard and then on the update-file. Click yes on the menu that pops up to start the update.

If you have these two units networked w/ ethernet, you probably should stay up at these latest software levels...having the Carbon way back at 18.x and the Pro at 23.3 might cause some networking issues...but, hey, if it works..go for it.
