    Vilas County Smallmouth lakes?

Coming up with my brother over Mothers Day weekend. Right now we are focused on Trout, Fence and Tomahawk lakes. Good? Bad?
Something better in mind in that general area?

    Thanks,
    Doug

Consider Crawling Stone(near Lac Du Flambeau), Two sisters (near Lk. Tomahawk), and Big Carr if the wind is an issue.

My buddy has a place on Two Sisters, good lake, been out on it a few times and did well. He's told me that Hodstradt Lake is a sleeper up there (I've never been though). Tomahawk is a good one for numbers (don't think I've ever caught one over 3).

Northeast of there you have Franklin and Butternut, I've caught some bigs on Franklin but that was years ago when my uncle had a place in Three Lakes.
