    Digital Gauge Issue

I have a 2023 Cx20pro that the Caymas digital gauge seems to fade out when it is sunny and warm. It does not fade out during cloudy days. Does anyone else have this issue/or a solution to this issue?

No it is not from my sunglasses. I have to take off my sunglasses to barely see the gauge readout. It is very odd that the guage does this. Other than that issue the gauge doesn't give me any issues with data or fuel readouts.

Call Rick at Caymas. Sounds like it needs to be replaced.

I called my dealer, and they contacted Mercury about the issue since apparently its a Mercury smart craft gauge with a Caymas sticker slapped on it. Mercury thinks that it is bad wiring, so I am dropping off my boat at the dealer tomorrow. I was told it will take about two weeks depending on parts; However, all will be covered under warranty which is great. I will update again once it is remedied.
