    Compass-Apex

I noticed while running that the compass in the top right corner of the screen never moved. Should it? How do you turn it on?

It indicates map orientation. It won't change since you have North-up map orientation. Map North is at the top of the view.

If you had Course-up orientation selected, then the pointer would be NW since that is the direction you are going, and the top of the view would be NW. The map will rotate keeping Course (direction of travel) at the top of the view.

Thanks Wayne. What should it do if I'm using Heading Up?

Heading is done via Heading Sensor (compass). Head-up will have the direction the bow is pointed at the top of the view (if the heading sensor is installed properly).

Course is calculated by GPS and Heading is established by a compass.
