What mapping software comes pre loaded on the hds Pro? Trying to decide if I still need to purchase cmap reveal?

Regular C-Map comes on it. I use my Navionics Platinum + card as well as a Reveal card.

Can you do color shading on the standard C-map or do you need the reveal?

You can create two custom palettes for the standard map.

To the OP the Pro comes with Discovery On Board. I will have some differences than the Reveal as the Reveal has Shaded Relief both do depth shading.
