    Question Trailer suspension work...

PIV trailer is 18 years old, always done tire and hub maintenance. Looking to replace the suspension bushings with stock bushings from Bass Cat. Anyone done this on an old trailer like this, are the old bushings hard to remove once the bolt is out?

    Tks, BAM

I upgraded my 2004 cougar trailer to the Dexter grazable equalizer and it was one of the best upgrades I made. trailer became silent on sharp turns and over time the ability to grease let to less wear.

Did the same to mine a couple years ago. Well worth the cost and effort.

If it has never been done before, the bushings are probably pretty much gone anyway. I did my ‘04 after it was about 15 years old and the bushings had at least one side worn through on most of them. So, to answer your question, it should not be hard at all to remove the old bushings once the bolt is out.
