    Curious serial numbers

Replacement MEGA Live received today ... serial number on the cable does not match the serial number in the system status view ...

I don’t recall even checking on the original MEGA Live ...

The serial number is on the Ethernet cable.

That's interesting. The manufacture date in the system view is February 22, 2024 and the manufacture date on the cable serial is December 16, 2023. I'm not sure which one is correct, but I would think the 2024 manufacture date is less likely.

Check yours and see if the serial number listed in the system status view is different ...

I just checked mine and the serial number showing on my Apex is also different than the serial number sticker on the Mega Live ppwer cord. The serial number displayed in the One-Boat Network App is the sa.e as what is displayed on the Apex... strange.

There are two different serial numbers==one on the power cord and one on the Ethernet cord. The Ethernet cord serial number is what the displays show.

Yes, this is correct. The serial on the Mega Live Ethernet cable was down inside the tube on my mount but I looked at my 2nd Mega Live and the serial on the Ethernet cable did match what was being diaplayed on the Network Status Screen as well as the One-Boat Network App.
