They understand death and seeing me dead will allow them to mourn, but if I just never show up

Dogs may or may not have a soul,I just don’t know. But I like to think they have. I have seen dogs mourn and other animals. God knows what he is doing even if we don’t understand.

My latest dog is probably my last. My little Baby Lucy left this world 27 February and I adopted Georgie two weeks later. He's (supposed to be) 4, I'm 81 maybe we'll both cross The Bridge together.
If not, he will probably have to find me.
