    Trailer insurance question

2023 Sabre tandum trailer. How much should it be insured for? On the “used”sales sheet it was listed as 8k, I think that may be high? I currently have it less, but would like an accurate amount.

Mite be pretty accurate. Using my receipt, I made up a breakdown of the values, engine, hull and trailer. I wanna say my trailer was $6k and about 11% of the whole purchase. Nothing wrong with going lower on the policy if it helps.

it would be $8k-$10k if you had to order a new one in the event of an accident.

it will take 7 to 8 k to replace it for some reason tournament fishermen insure the trailer for 2k an then there is a accident an they find out it takes 7 to 10 k to get a new one an then they are mad at the agent who ask them how much value they wanted to insure the trailer for.
