Can you legally hunt Sasquatch in your state?

I read where a man called Washington Dept. of fish and game to inquire if he could legally hunt sasquatch. They didn't have an answer and transferred him to the county sheriff's office that did not have an answer either. Might not be a good idea if you're a hairy guy to run around in the woods naked.

They are protected by county ordinance in some places in Washington State.

Considering its a dude in a costume running around for tourists, I would say that's at least manslaughter if you shoot him.

Maybe they should transfer him to the looney bin and have a chat with them.

When you say Hunt, do you mean kill? Anyone is free to look for anything. But it's illegal to kill most anything unless your state has a listed season for it or list it a nusiance that can be taken at any time.

Hunting Sasquatch is like hunting Snipes.

I developed the nickname "Sasquatch" in college, though it wasn't due to my stature. No license was required...but should have been now that I think about it.

    Big girls need love too.

I've seen several decoys in peoples yards around here. Some are the magnum decoys, over 10 feet tall.
