I mostly fish at night so I'm paranoid about :
    1) running into a boat with their lights off (I see this on the lake way too frequently)
    2) hitting someone swimming out past the buoys where they shouldn't be.

Jet ski's, pontoon boats pulling tubes, random people swimming where they shouldn't be! I have just about hit all of them at one time and they all have the same attitude that I don't own the water. Had a guy sling his grandchildren in front of me in a tube less the 20' while running at 60 mph. Guy free swimming in the middle of the Potomac that I slowed down because I thought his bald head was a catfish jug. Both told me I didn't own the water and mind my own business.

I'd be the one that would tell them their stupidity will eventually get them killed.

I dont recall where I was working but I met a guy that had serious scarring on his face and after talking with him a steel skull plate. He was hit while scuba diving. Someone ignored his red flags.

Just curios what are red floats used while water skiing? In MO an Orange Flag is used but only when the watersport person is in the water and not underway.

Most people use one but most also ignore the part about not using it while underway?

If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

If there is really a Ranger out there that can pass me. And to be serious, yakkers scare me the most, they can be lost between wave and disappear.

Depends where I'm at, on the river it's hitting something submerged...on popular recreational lakes it's jet skiers. One time I slung a blade on an 23M, didn't know what happened.

Driving in 2 plus foot waves. It's a lot harder to see stuff it requires a ton of concentration and it's uncomfortable. If it gets worse quickly you are in dangerous conditions.

Duck hunter in a Kayak is the WORST.

Running 70 down the river part of a lake in the fall I noticed a very small brush pile way out front in the channel. I was like this shouldn't be there maybe a floater! It was a kayak in the channel covered in brush, sticks and camo. WOW!

Would have been funny if someone pulled up and started fishing it.
