Marijuana and working out question

I just sold my old boat two weeks ago. I told the guy that bought it my bank was only 3 miles away and we could get the paperwork notarized there. Since he was from out of town I offered to drive us both there in my truck so that's what we did. I swear I think I had a second hand high by the time we got back. I never noticed it talking to him in the driveway but once we were in the truck with the doors closed... man oh man!

I go lift weights 5 days a week. About 60% of the time I notice that people come in to workout, smelling strongly of weed. Is this common elsewhere?

I was kayaking workout today and noticed a couple in a canoe Ahead of me passing whatever they were smoking back and forth way bigger than a Joint.

Right after passing them the breeze blew a big cloud of that smoke that sort of engulfed my upper body must have breathed in a bunch of it. Sure glad there wasn’t a second cloud heading my way or would have fell overboard. It didn’t smell like MJ but the folks were International Visitors so probably something more exotic than Marijuana.

Statistics will read whatever you want them to read. I know, having been in law enforcement for 42 years seeing how they always changed our stats to reflect a political agenda. Take the state of Colorado for example who was early on legalizing marijuana. Of course they show a revenue increase from taxes. But there are so many secondary costs that goes unseen. In addition, DUI arrest are up 110 percent, a good portion involved marijuana. All those crashes and injured citizens and even deaths can’t be assessed in financial cost, but it’s an increase. If every user could responsibly smoke at home, I wouldn’t care. But the pharmaceutical marijuana today is powerful… and young adolescent do not have the maturity to use. These dispensaries making it a lot more accessible than ever before. We will all pay a dear cost in years to come with our youth. Just my 2 cents

Did you type that after enjoying a cocktail, that you bought at any one of the gazillion liquor stores in this country? Ever looked up the serious down sides with that drug? I thought this was the land of the free? Funny OP is in Canada, a country you can legally get plastered drunk in at the age of 18….
