I was looking to get some because I do like to add some scent/flavor to my plastics. Online search seemed like 7.99 per tube was cheapest but flavor I wanted was out

Ever hear of "chaff" that fighters throw out to confuse radar guided missiles? Anything that will reflect back sonar waves better than the bait without it will increase the return signal. Ultrasound gel just increases contact of the piezoelectric probe with the skin (and may reduce static) - it doesn't increase the signals from the tissue it is imaging. Totally different physics than an increased sonar reflectivity.

I haven't but after meeting the founder at the airport last week in Nashville I'm sold on the man and will buy his product. In a world of "salesmen" this man was just a good ol boy would got emotional talking about how excited he was for his product to help people catch more fish!

Ultrasound gel is meant to reduce the air interface and couple the sound into an object and reduce a hard return. Water can be used as a “couplant” bait pop is not ultrasound gel.
