Today we celebrate a very bleed day, Palm Sunday, where our Lord comes in triumphantly on a donkey's colt, and many accepted Him acknowledging Him by chanting “Hosannah! Hosannah! Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord, the King of Israel!” The pharisees tried to have Jesus rebuke His disciples and followers, but He answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
He goes in the temple to teach, being repulsed by what they were doing in the house of God, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves. From that day on, the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, yet, could not find what they might do.
Sadly, not many days later, many of the same people will be shouting "crucify him.", which is the same chant some still have about Him today.
May the Grace and Peace of Christ be upon y'all,
Frank
