Z19 trim switches issue!

What a year…
after getting troll fixed…
was fishing a couple days ago and the trim went
wild… up up up… no matter what down switch used!
Managed to get the 10 miles back to the launch and
was told at launch a few theories like bow Nitro switch
is a known weak point and many have been replaced…

in conclusion I towed the 2018 Z19 (with 66 engine hours) to dealer 28 miles away…
they tried and tried but could not get any of the 4 trim switches to fail or act weird!!!

so now I can get the boat home today and hope am not left “trim max up”
to get back 10-15 miles to the launch next trip on the St. John’s River.
They even sprayed water on the engine trim switch but no switch
failed or acted strange.

After 11 rigs over 40 plus years this is new.
Any ideas??? Thanx

It was the switch on my Merc that went bad on mine, I put it in place and disconnected the battery to haul it home and to the dealer they fixed it free.

I decided to replace that engine switch too… but not free lol
Will get boat done by 2pm or so today they say…

About $173…. plan is to test all and fish Tuesday the 26th when 25mph cool gusts are half that…

Mine was the steering wheel switch. I unscrewed the handle and sprayed silicone in it fixed.
