    Mounting accessories inside rod locker

I’m going to put a fuse block in the starboard rod locker. I’d prefer to install it on the gunnel side instead of behind the console for easier access. Going to use (4) 3/4” #10 screws to hold in place. Seems to be plenty of material between the locker wall and hull exterior. Anything I’m missing that would make this a bad move? TY

there should be space at the back of the rod locker on the wall up against the console. thats where the factory puts it and i put a second one there. i wouldnt go on the outside of the boat.

For ease of mind I went with mounting on the console as well. I’d be the guy to run a screw through my hull. But mounted everything behind the kick panel to help hide all rigging

I put fuse panel and black box on the board in the back of the rod locker. Worked great to take the board out for the install and then put back in.
