I am going to Dardanelle spadra area this weekend. Anyone have a good source to get fishing reports there? I hear the bite was great until the last cold front dropped the temp almost 10 degrees. Looking to fish for bass and maybe get the wife on some crappie.
My folks have been there most of the Winter and early Spring so far. Crappie are in transition and getting a bit tougher to nail down for them the past week or two. Not heard much on the bass front.

Bass were shallow in the grass. Belly weighted swimbait for really thick stuff and a spinner bait were the baits we caught them on. Local marina said tournament was won on slow rolled spinner bait in grass as well.
Based on what the river looked like today at Fort Smith, I would imagine Dardanelle is getting a bunch of dirty, cold water now.
