Question 2021 Nitro Z17 Pro XS Cranking Battery Question

I bought this boat from an older couple with only 15 hours on the motor. The question I have is why does it have a 24v cranking battery? Is that ok, what the factory puts in it, or should I pull that out? The trolling motor has 2 12V batteries to make 24v which I know is ok. I discovered the 24v cranking battery after I was hooking up my electronics and noticed the accessory switch has 24v running through the bus bar.

Here is a link to an image of it. The picture was too large to add to the post: https://ibb.co/wB8WBkQ

Thanks for any help and advice!

Thats not a 24v battery. Most likely have some wires connected wrong.

I agree on the trolling motor part. My first thought was it was a 12v as well, however, it is putting out 24v.

Hmm, let me take a closer look at it. I did see 24 on the battery itself. However, that could have been a group number. Even so, why would the battery read 24v on a multimeter? I tested the battery itself last night and it was reading 24v.

Looks like an Interstate 12v AGM to me. Standard battery that comes factory on all Nitro boats.

Don't laugh guys... but I had my multimeter on the wrong setting. lol It was a long night and I guess I wasn't paying attention. I just went back and confirmed that the 24 listed on the battery was the group number and it does indeed output 12v instead of 24v when you actually put your multimeter on the correct setting. Thanks everyone!
