Removing Megabass 110 hooks

I hope this fits here. I had the inevitable happen this weekend and I got stuck with one of the Megabass 110 hooks and in the removal process I learned that none of the tricks (other than push through) that I knew didn’t work on this hook since the barb is on the outside. Does anyone have any tricks for getting one of these hooks out of you get stuck with one?

In my situation I got stuck in the side of the finger up to the bend of the hook.

I pushed the hook forward to release the out barb and popped the hook out. It was much easier than a normal hook.

I saw a guy this weekend use the braid trick to pop one out of his finger came out quick and clean
