replacing fuel line on 150XP. Thought that 3/8 went from tank to primer ball to moor intake. using marine grade fuel hose in 3/8 in will not fit. where did I go wrong?

Need more description of what was wrong with the fit. Too big, too small?
Did you purchase OEM fuel hose or aftermarket like Attwood? Primer bulb should have the yellow ends on it.
