Garmin screen after using Active Captian?

New to livescope. I have a 1242 with the knob and buttons. When turning on, the knob default is controlling Gain, Depth & Range as you toggle thru, and the one selected shows on the screen. Works fine. If I use Active Captain and take some screen recordings, then close the app, the Garmin screen no longer shows the icon Gain, Depth or Range.

How do I get that to come back on my unit screen once Active Captain has been closed?
