I'm going to be honest with you here, there isn't one. The Lake Norman area hotel situation sucks for fishermen. The Days Inn off of exit 36 is still probably the best. When the bigger events come most guys just rent a house. //it's a shame because Norman is probably one of the best winter time lakes around and a good hotel for boats would kill it. A big group of guys from WV and Ohio come fish a lot year round

Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort has tiny homes for rent, but they are located on Hwy 150...
I just stayed at Carolina inn. Was OK. Could back boat up to room door. And had outside outlets. I would go back .
