NMEA 2K is universal. Apex/Solix can use that input. If Helix could, you can bet on Apex or Solix being capable. I have never had the need to get involved, but The Help desk will lead you to what cable and input from you to accomplish the task. Bob

If you don't have a valid Headung Sensor, or don't have it defined properly, then Heading Up will basically operate the same as GPS Up.

quick update - both units needed to be updated , once updated it recognized my simrad compass and all taken care of , thanks everyone for the help
