    Battery Operated Impact Wrench

Looking for something to take lug nuts off my boat trailer or truck in case of flat so wouldn't be used that much. Any recommendations on the cheaper end that might work ? Thanks

I personally have a 1/2" Milwaukee and wouldn't want anything else but with that said I had a buddy who had some Ryobi's and they did well for the price.

I have Dewalt that has been really handy a few times and has plenty of power.

Honestly for cheap / portable, it’s hard to beat a harbor freight breaker bar and socket. Impact is nice when at home but on the road I wouldn’t want to rely on a battery tool.

Same here. Mid torque is what I have more that you need.

All brands are comparable. If you think you will need/want more battery-operated tools, then get them all the same brand and you can get a couple of batteries and buy the tools cheaper without each needing a battery.

    Milwaukee brushless are amazing.

I carry in a boat bag one of my old milwaukee 1/2 non brushless w socket, battery, axle hub, tools to change the hub and zip ties if the caliper needs to be disconnected.

I think you can get the older half inch non brushless milwaukee really cheap. I do also have a 4 way lug wrench zip tie to my trailer to break lugs loose.

I agree completely. A three feet breaker bar takes little effort to loosen tight lug nuts, fits under the back seat of my truck, and will work every time you pull it out

Picked up a 1/2 model at HARBOR Freight that I just leave in truck. Used it multiple times. Gets the job done every time

I just bought a Harbor Fright 1/2 in “driver” and have used it on the trailer and truck. I got the blue one, Hercules line. If I was to buy again I’d buy the wrench which has a little more ballz. Also bought at HF I carry an extendable breaker bar. It’s handy.

Go with a 1/2” in whatever brand your other cordless tools are.

I carry a Milwaukee M18 Fuel 1/2" Drive Mid-Torque Impact Wrench, 1/2" Milwaukee Impact Sockets and Kobalt 50-250 lb-ft torque wrench. I keep them in my truck but use them twice a year to swap wheels/tires in April and October.

Good input, will get breaker bar and go look at some of the suggested brands.
