    Psa: “foot” vs “feet” rant

Just heard another national television fishing celebrity refer to the water as being “16 foot” deep. People it’s as simple as “singular” (one) vs “plural” (more than one). If you are referring to more than one (plural) then it’s FEET. So it would be “16 FEET” deep NOT “16 FOOT” deep. Your boat is “A 16 boat” (“A” is singular”) but, it is “16 feel long”(plural). Sorry for the rant…kills me that the leaders in the industry that I love (fishing) do this every day. Help the next generation to be better.

That’s accurate because it is “A” (singular) 16 foot boat. Well done!

    Huh?

You left something off plus you capitalized the A when it was not necessary. Shouldn't PSA be capitalized on thread title as well?

I'm scratching my head as to when people started using "sell" and "sale" incorrectly so often. "Boat For Sell" and "I'm going to sale my boat". I see this screwed up usage on here a lot!
