    Hydrafoils

just wondering, who here are running hydrafoils on their Champions? What boat, motor, prop, brand of foil and performance seen by adding it.
    Did you see and negatives?

Tx Champ......Why do you feel they are not needed....do you have more to it? My 206 runs a fine line if i have empty live wells my hole shot and low speed plane are good when full wells hole shot takes way long and slow speeds the bow lifts way to high

i run a 250 pro XS two stroke with Bravo 25 pitch worked by Marks and added vent holes

I had a hydrafoil on my 2006, 198, 225 Optimax. Did not help the hole-shot, and was a negative on top end. Didn't last long on the Opti. Every time I see it in the garage I just shake my head. 25 Tempest Plus worked by Croxton, 5 degree wedges, 3.5 PTP. Will not name hydrafoil brand.

My 210 isn't as fast to get on plane as my 201 was even with 50 more hp. My opinion is that the beam forward hulls, 198, 200, 206 & 210 have more hull in the water than the 86" and early 90" hulls. My 210 isn't objectionable at 6-7 sec. I'm running a 250 HPDI with a 25 T1 reworked by Josh at Steve's Custom Prop's. My 201 was a Mariner 200 EFI with a 25 Tempest by Josh.

Foils are a bandaid for a bad set up. Champs don’t need them.
