I found some stuff at walmart in the electronics dept for cleaning tablet screens. Comes with some wipes and a spray bottle of cleaner. Contains no alcohol or ammonia. Works really well with a microfiber cloth and not terribly expensive.

I have never needed anything but bottled water and small microfiber towel. Cleans fishy fingerprints, water splashes, rain, and dust.

50% alcohol, 50% distilled water. Been using it for many years. Maybe read the manual.
My wife asks if I'm going to fish every day. I can't fish every day. Some days I might be sick.

If at the end of the day all your cleaning off is water spots then I agree with what was posted earlier. Plain ol water and a microfiber towel will clean the screen. If you don't wipe off the screen at the end of the day and you fish multiple trips letting the sun bake the water spots on then you will want to get a small spray bottle like say 6 or 8 oz and add about 1 oz rubbing alcohol and 1/2 oz vinegar to around 5 oz of water. That will cut baked on water spots. If it doesn't up the alcohol and vinegar ratio to the mix.

The free glass cleaning solution you get with prescription glasses and use a microfiber. Or the generic version of the solution from the eye glass place

I use the Zeiss lens cleaner that Walmart sells by the optical department. An 8 ounce bottle is about $4.00 and last a long time. This stuff and a microfiber cloth works great.

This has been pretty well beaten into the ground. With computer screens (or finder screens there are coatings for various things on them). They can be damaged by many different chemicals. Some optics have different reasons. To be safe I would ask/or get info from the company the screen is put out by.(Garmin/Lowrance/ HB etc. There will be specific recommendations for screen cleaning. and other things (bug spray and sun block are examples) JMO Bob
