Check out Grape hammock on the south end of Lake Kissimmee. You will, also only be about 45 minutes from the Okeechobee
Buckhead Ridge Resort, just SW of Okee.

I have stayed here for 5 years up until last year. Great facility, very clean and has a club house and is very close to Harney Pond Canal ramp. Short drive to Okeechobee and 3 great tackle stores.
