What does Shimano sell now that is comparable to the Core 50mg. I have several cores that I use for flipping and pitching. Just curious what would the closest thing to them be if I decided to upgrade

Curado 70 MGL
The core 50 is magnesium and really light. Outside of a Metanium I am not sure what is that close considering frame material and reel size. The Core 50 was a such a great reel I am not sure anything would be an upgrade over it. Newer isn’t always better or an upgrade.
Have both and the new Metanium 70 DC is very close!

Alderbearn maybe would be the closest curado 70 is heavier but pretty close also
