    trailer jack upgrade

anyone else have issues with the Fulton jack on their 3" model trailers (Sabre, p2, classic) ? Mine is terrible in the fact the wheel does not turn and wants to just skip/drag when manually moving the boat. Any suggested upgrades for this?

Part of the problem is there is not a lot of bow weight on trailer. when I have the swing tongue folded (winch strap loose) and get in my boat the bow will rise and fall if I am in the cockpit or on back deck.

will an f2 jack fit the 3" bcb trailer?

Also wondering if an f2 winch would fit the bcb trailer as well.

I don't think so without some mods.

My jack is a pos, P2 2021. It's on my list to change out. I have been fighting with it for a year.

Is this jack not the XLT model? Although mine is a P2 and 4 inch trailor, I added the XLT to mine awhile back. It is a good jack. I actually thought Basscat was using the XLT on all their trailers currently.

It isn’t the XLT. Same jack that comes on tin rangers and trackers. Basic Fulton. I’ll likely just go to the XLT and hope it works better.

I put a fulton x2 winch on my margay 3 inch trailer, you can't even compare it to the xlt which I stripped out handles just tightening down the strap at the end. I had to drill two holes in the trailer mount but it is rock solid. I also upgraded to an xlt jack much better than the stock piece.

Was the jack just rebolt the the existing welded on plate?

With the factory jack on mine, yes it was a direct replace. Even though I did some tweaks to tighen it a bit
