I have a 150 ETEC, E150HGLAB #05485143, that a friend has offered to to help me install a new water pump & impeller. Not sure if I need to change out the water pump or just the impeller. What is a good source to buy the parts and what Part numbers would I need? Thanks in advance for any info provided.
What is the last letter (suffix)?
I'm not sure what you mean by "last letter (suffix). On my owner identification card it says, date of delivery 4/26/17. Model E150HGLAB serial #05485143. The manufacturer's statement of origin has the same information with a date of manufacture of 12/16. Where would I find a sufix?

go with the complete water pump kit. It includes the gaskets, grommets, impeller and housing. All these things (gaskets, grommets, etc) are disassembled in the process and must be replaced anyway.
You will need two different sealants. The pro's here can help with that as well or you can spend lots of money on the exact OEM sealants stated in the instructions. Give the sealant that you glue in the O-ring in place with some time to set up before applying the O-ring. Clean the base off really well where the first gasket gets sealed down.
