I put slick 50 on mine but I think about any oil will work.

Sand the peg and apply a dap of Anti-seize

clean with wire brush and oil every year

Yearly spray down of 'Liquid Rollers'....in and out with ease.

I used a brake cylinder hone, probably not as quick as the wire brush that was referenced but still worked.
