    Losing depth reading

When I get up over 25mph I lose my depth reading. I have a Ti2 Lowrance. 3-1 transducer. Any ideas?

The AI3-1 is not designed to run at high speed. Most Bass boats have a shoot thru hull transducer for runnign at speed and then switch back to the 3-1 for fishing. You need a 2 channel sonar unit to accomplish this and the TI2 is only 1 channel. Lowrance does make a kit that has both transducers and you can switch to the other transducer and back.

My console has Ti2 9 / 3n1 on jackplate, Lowrance X135 / bilge NEW-2D, and Lowrance 1210A / bilge 2D. X135's large digital depth readings in flasher mode works OK (garage photo).

What year Champ? Does it have in-dash flasher / bilge 2D ?

If you properly mount these transducers they will read at high speeds. Watch the video by Jacob Scott on the Lowrance YouTube channel on how to properly mount a transducer.

    Relocate or adjust your transducer.
Post a few photos of how it is mounted now and you will get more specific feedback.
