Hope they got the issues with the hull cracks fixed. Really doesn't make much sense to pay that much for one when you can get a Nitro Z20 with a 250 for cheaper.

Why would someone pay that for an aluminum rig and not just get a glass boat?

I can understand it if you live on one of those stumpy lakes, fish a ton shallow, don't care to do the gelcoat upkeep.

That said for me it would be a no brainer to go glass, especially at that price point.

I've yet to ride in a metal boat that rode and handled better than a glass boat.

It looks good and better then most metal boats but that price point won't help it sell.

It BETTER fish really, really well! or it will bomb.

$5300 for sportsman is a joke. They are retail 2600 for the pair, and another 400ish for brackets. Should not have a 2300 markup. I ordered raptors for my boat and it was 400 to have them installed and paid retail on the rest.

Nice looking boat but I give it a 50/50 chance of reports coming in of cracked welds within a year.

Appears to be heavier than a 520R by almost 100lbs. holds 9' rods too.

Going by the lack of any recent postings in the Tin Boat Forum about Ranger aluminum hull's cracking they may fixed the issue.
