Thumbs Up I Saw A Dragon This Morning....

I watched the SpaceX Dragon capsule return to earth this morning and it was quite a show. Looked like the biggest shooting star with a fire trail behind it that went half way across the sky.

"Four people of NASA's Crew-7 mission streaked across the Midwest and Southern U.S. in the pre-dawn hours Tuesday with a successful and fiery return to Earth.

The SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule could be seen by people who looked up and watched it zip across the darkened sky.

Over the course of an hour, the capsule went from 17,500 mph in orbit and plunged through the atmosphere to bleed off speed. It came to a gentle splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico under a canopy of parachutes off Pensacola, Fla. capping six months aboard the International Space Station."
    Hi Mike.

I was up early enough to go outside and see it but the warm bed was more interesting at 4:30 am.

I'm up long before then so I ventured out to watch it. Just a little cool but worth it. Don't get a chance to see stuff like that very often.
I try to catch most all the meteor showers each year but this was even better.

That would have been cool to see but at 4:30 I am getting my best sleep so I would have thought it would have been Aliens had someone got me up to watch it!

Didn't know about it or I would have got up and watched it. I saw a shuttle re-entry once before and it was pretty incredible. The speed at which it crosses the sky from horizon to horizon is nuts.
