    Shameless self-promotion

Hey guys/gals, I usually don't share a lot of my music profession here on BBC, but I have a couple of interesting shows coming up this weekend and I know a number of BBC'ers live in the area of them. On Friday evening I will be performing in Lagrange GA at Pure Life House of Music, and Saturday evening I will be at 48 West in Wedowee AL. I will be performing as part of a trio with John Cowan and Barry Waldrep. Those guys are used to playing FAR bigger stages than these two intimate music rooms, so these two shows are likely to be a whole lotta fun. John was a long time member of the supergroup The Newgrass Revival, and has held the bass player/vocalist position with The Doobie Brothers since 2010. If you've ever heard Calling Baton Rouge by Garth Brooks, then you've heard NGR as Garth hired them as his band for that song- the high harmony vocal would be John. Barry Waldrep is talented vocalist/multi-instrumentalist that has recorded and/or performed with artists ranging from Warren Haynes, Emmylou Harris, Jimmy Hall, Zac Brown Band, Vince Gill, and so many more. So if you are in the area of these two shows, I would love to see some fellow BBCer's. Might even talk fishing some! These smaller venues often allow artists to stretch their legs a little more, and sometimes that's when the magic happens.

Saw Barry Waldrep play at few times at a little music fest they use to have at Chimney Cove at Lake Wedowee. Amazing guitar player and musician! Wish I were still in the area so I could come check you out.
Just be kind to one another. It really is that simple.
