Etec 250 HO Tilt /Trim

Problem with Tilt /Trim. Having intermitten problems with trim not going down, will go up using all switches, I changed the Tilt/Trim relay with a new one and the same problem occurs, when I mash the down button, I hear it clicking and after a few seconds it might go down or it might not, at times it will go down, other times it will not. 2014 Motor

pdp issue? has up and down relays inside it solder comes loose and it can be rebuilt also

Remind me again what is the PDP. The relay was new and had never been used.

An ETEC does not have a power distribution panel aka PDP. An Evinrude Ficht has a PDP.
The green wire from the trim switch triggers the relay for down trim. Start looking at all connections of the green wire from the relay to all the switched for loose or corroded.

so the PDP disappeared after the DI engine became a ETEC?
