    Zlock jack plate adjustment

Hey guys, I’m trying to get a little move speed out of my boat by raising the manual jackplate, I’ve raised it about 1” and water pressure, speed and rpm’s haven’t changed any. Should I keep raising? I’ve never messed with a jackplate before.

the boat is a Caymas cx 18 with a 150 pro xs and 23p tempest prop. Tuning 5800 and 51 mph.

I would post this on the Caymas site.
You need to know what your PTP, RPM and top speed are to compare.
51 might not be bad for a 150, but need more info.

Not exactly the same boat but you're in the ballpark. I'm running a 150 pro xs 4 stroke on a 2005 Triton TR-186 with a Tempest 22p and turn 5950 at 55mph. I also have a Powertech Rev 4 blade 20p that's over revving the engine with a top speed of 50mph.
