I for some reason like Panger and always check where he's at, but you can tell he doesn't have much in depth fishing knowledge by listening to btl.
Suprising considering the connections he has from the podcast but I'm sure being as busy as he is takes a toll.

Since Jeffries left Matt has single handedly given up the near monopoly BTL once had on fishing podcasts. It’s seriously at the point where he is having a handful of elite anglers on per year. I still like the show when it’s on, but even when it’s not hiatus most episodes are day 4, some product infomercial, or Matt grilling some opens angler on how he won.

I don't see him ever making it back to the Elites. Hell the bottom 25 guys on the elite series couldn't requalify through the open eq's now.
