Grate spam. Grate cheese. Mix together. Spread a half inch thick on open face hamburger bun. But in oven under broiler and cook until surface of cheese/spam mix starts to get a little brown crust on it. Take out and let cool some before eating.

Musubi. Fry with teriyaki sauce, place on similarly shaped bed of white rice and wrap with seaweed. Alternatively, fried spam with egg over easy on white rice.

I’ve never really cared for it and don’t buy it myself but a friend of mine always does thin sliced spam on his pit boss as a snack while we’re grilling and it’s not bad with some bbq sauce.

Okinawans love it. It has to do with the fact that after we took the island in WWII that cases of spam were the main staple brought to the island by the U.S. military to feed the Okinawans. During the several times I have been stationed there, I have bought yakisoba, fried rice, and sushi rolls from roadside stands in Oki and have bought Kim Bap made with it in Korea. Every once in a while I'll have someone at work tell me how they would never eat sushi. I'll make a couple rolls with spam, scrambled eggs, strips of cucumber, and avocado. I've never had any leftovers. My personal two favorite ways to eat it are in a grilled spam and cheese and spam and eggs in the morning.

We were pretty poor when I was growing up so spam was a popular menu item. My dad loved it, but guess where he learned to eat it? He was on Okinawa in 1945.

Cut it into cubes, fry it till it’s nice and browned. Then add it to an Asian stir fry mix of veggies and rice.

I haven't had any in a very long time, but some thin sliced pieces cooked real crispy in a cast iron skillet sound real good 'bout right now. Add a piece of velveeta and lots of mustard on both slices of fresh, white bread, and you've reached heaven!

This is it but I have put it in the smoker for an hour before I fried it and I have covered it in flour and deep fried it too

That sounds good. Our youngest grandson insists on a spam omelet every time he stays over. Then I have what’s left of the can with over-easy eggs later in the week, straight up fried.

Fried spam eggs easy over…. Diced spam, onion, pepper lightly browned in a small fry pan put eggs on top break the yokes wait, carefully flip put your favorite cheese on top, turn off the heat and cover till cheese melts….good stuff. Spam and potato salad out of fridge on a hot summer day.
And up here the Lutheran funeral special…better known as dead spread, 1 can of spam,3 hard boiled eggs all smashed with a fork, about a 1/4 cup pickle relish, 1/4 cup miracle whip, and a squirt of mustard, served on buns.

Not a fan, but I would cut it up and scramble some eggs with it. I do the same with kielbasa.
