    Trolling motor opinion

So I just recently bought a Triton Tr18 that came with a 70lb 24v Minn kota edge. I replaced it with a 112 36v Fortrex. I have a 16ft aluminum stick steer boat as well that has a 70lb 24v Motorguide X3. Which one would yall keep to put on the aluminum boat? The edge or the X3? Both of them are less than a year old.

The last MG that I owned was a 12V from the 90's, and I only upgraded to the MK Terrova around 2014 because I wanted spotlock, remote control, and 24V. It worked; I'm not sure about the build quality of anything modern other than the negatives that you hear, though--then again, most people only talk about the negatives.
