if you are seeking the very best unit, the 8412 or 8612. It will have the best resolution and highest quality imaging. If you are looking for a very good unit that is more affordable than the 84/8612 I'd recommend the 1222. Feel free to call us at: 316-313-4113, this is what we do everyday!
I run the 8412; it is outstanding.
I'm also very interested in the new 1643 model (16").
So for live scope only the 1222 is better then the 126sv Ultra 1 (discontinued model). The 8412 or 8612 just out of my price range.
1222 non touch is the best unit for scope.Theres no resolution difference between all the units on livescope
There is a difference in resolution on a lot of the Garmin units.
8412 is 1920 x 1200
8612 is 1920 x 1080
1222 is 1280 x 800
So, depending on the resolution of your choice, there is a slight difference.
Don’t be fooled by resolution numbers as the only thing that truly matters is screen size.The best bang for livescope is 1222 or 126 on sale .The 8612 is really a 11 screen at best it’s definitely horrible for scope at 4000 dollar price.
